The Pickleball Education Program is underway!
The Pickleball Education Group, composed of some of the top retired physical education teachers in the country, is bringing pickleball to Collier County Schools.
We are in need of equipment such as nets, paddles, balls, safety glasses and more to provide for the schools.
To get our program off the ground a very generous donation from Teksoft Ventures allowed us to purchase 50 paddles and balls to have the right tools for the educators at Avalon Elementary School, Naples, FL. Debbie Noble worked with Laura Mahn at Avalon to put a program together that the students loved.
We are working with Tracy Bowen of the Collier County Schools Program to provide pickleball throughout the county and beyond. Also, with the support of Commissioner Donna Fiala and Dr. Francine Eufemia this program is having great success!
