A few years ago I was out to dinner with my husband celebrating our anniversary. I over-heard the group at table next to us talking and I recognized the strong New England accent. I curiously struck up a conversation with this fun group and to my great surprise I discover that one of the people at the table is my long lost cousin, Jim Ludwig! I had no idea he lived in my same city, Naples, FL. We shared laughs and hugs and endeavored to stay connected.
A few years after that through another crazy series of events I reconnected with Jim, who had started an organization called Pickleball for All. The sport peaked my interest and before I knew it I was working for this passionate, personable, visionary who is clearly determined to do everything in his power to introduce it to children, veterans, organizations and well, the entire world if he could! I’ve even started learning how to play and I love it! I love the bond that pickleball brings between individuals young and old and the health benefits gained by making it a regular part of your life. It is surely sweeping the nation and I am excited to be a part of Jim and Carol’s team!
