Having a 30-year tennis background and experience playing in senior tennis tournaments made the game of Pickleball come naturally for me. Since I’d worked with veterans for years a light bulb went off in my head. This very in depth yet easy to learn sport would be beneficial in helping veterans of all ages. Pickleball For All Executive Director Jim Ludwig immediately gave the go-ahead for a Veterans Pickleball for All Program. I like to call pickleball a pro- social activity that produces life changing, long lasting healthy changes for all who play.
